How To Twist The Classic Combination Of Chocolate Brownie With Walnuts

SEA SALT INFUSED CHOCOLATE MINT BROWNIES WITH CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER & HOT CHOCOLATE SAUCE

We created this item since we wanted to twist the classic combination of chocolate brownie with walnuts and also we wanted to create something which would compliment both savoury and sweet elements.

Nowadays there is a trend of infusing traditional dessert items with savoury ingredients as it helps us to combine different flavours in our regular daily selling items and helps us to create very interesting and innovative dishes.

Ingredients:
100 GM unsalted butter
125 GM powdered sugar
100 GM refined flour
25 GM cocoa powder
2 tbsp dark chocolate chips
3 eggs
1/2 TSP baking powder
1 TSP vanilla essence
1/2 TSP Mint extract
1 TSP vanilla essence
1/4 TSP SEA SALT
120 GM peanut butter
20 GM crushed salted and roasted peanuts
30 GM Whole roasted peanuts
Hershey’s chocolate sauce
Vanilla ice cream optional

METHOD
In a mixing bowl, mix refined flour, cocoa powder, peanuts and baking powder.
Now melt the butter and add 100 gm sugar, vanilla essence and mint extract to it. Whisk until smooth and fluffy. Then add egg one by one.
Then add the prepared flour and cocoa mix along with Chocolate chips and sea salt. Fold slowly till there are no lumps.
Transfer into a greased baking tray and bake at 175 C for 30 minutes.
Till the time brownie is baked, make the peanut butter topping by simply mixing 125 gm peanut butter, 25 gm sugar, crushed roasted and salted peanuts and 30 ml chocolate sauce.
When the brownie is done, cut it into pieces and top it with the prepared peanut butter topping.
To serve, place the prepared brownie on a sizzler plate, sprinkle little sea salt on top and serve with hot chocolate sauce.
